Beaches: choose your kind of shore
A useful beach choice starts with the day you want, not an island-wide ranking.

| Setting | Why consider it | Check before leaving |
|---|---|---|
| Eagle Beach | A broad beach in the low-rise area | Actual access route, shade and return transport |
| Palm Beach | Beach time near the high-rise hotel strip and services | Which services are public, commercial or included |
| Baby Beach | A southern lagoon outing near San Nicolas | Transport connections, markers and current conditions |
Access is more than a map pin
Ask about the route from drop-off to sand, surfaces, steps and facilities your group needs. Do not assume equipment, shade or toilets are included. Confirm current provider terms for commercial services.
Keep swimming a separate decision
Pictures and general descriptions cannot certify the sea on the day. Baby Beach guidance explicitly calls for staying inside the marked snorkelling area. Follow local restrictions, and choose a land-based visit if conditions or ability make entering the water unsuitable.
